Google Shopping x AI

At the forefront of AI and LLM’s, I led the UX team in partnering closely with Search and Ads to launch Search Generative Experiences for Shopping as part of a new design system co-created together.

When searching for a product, you’ll get a snapshot of noteworthy factors to consider and products that fit the bill. You’ll also get product descriptions that include relevant, up-to-date reviews, ratings, prices and product images. We announced at Google I/O 2023 delivering users an enhanced, more helpful shopping experience and can experience this as part of shopping.google.com.

IMPACT: Increase thumbs up, decrease in thumbs down, and helpfulness metrics, This experience has now scaled to billions of users as part of AI Overviews and is built on Google’s Shopping Graph, which has more than 35 billion product listings.
